Edvoy - Introducers
Edvoy is a study abroad platform which helps students with the resources and tools to explore their options for studying abroad.
Introducers are a third-party agency that helps students who want to study abroad. They provide information about courses and universities in different countries, help with the application process, and offer guidance and support.
Edvoy Introducers work with the Edvoy team to ensure that students meet university requirements. They help students prepare for interviews and assessments, and provide information about scholarships and funding opportunities.
Through Edvoy Introducers, the agents are able to offer students a huge list of Courses and Universities. As well as applying digitally.
Research
Before beginning the design process, I conducted user research to understand the needs and pain points of agencies and our people at Edvoy. There were a lot of findings:
The entire offline process was hassle. Since the agencies (mainly in MENA countries) were not able to apply to universities, they had to join hands with Study Abroad companies like Edvoy. And to handle the student applications offline were very tough.
The agencies were not able to track student applications and had to wait till they got a response from Edvoy or their students got response from Universities.
Edvoy had to hire a lot of man power to handle the students coming in from agencies.
Features
Course and University Search: Comprehensive search function that allows students to find courses and universities based on their preferences.
Student Profile: Allows agents to add documents, preferences, notes etc to a particular student.
Applications: Tracking their students' applications.
Introducers web app is directly connected to Edvoy CRM which Counsellors from Edvoy use.
Improving the product digitally
Push, not pull; Rather than expecting students to keep track of their application status, we send critical updates on the applications to them when they need it.
